I picked up a pair and the spider daisy chain, they work great for attaching my Ridgerunner dogbones onto!

It just absolutely blows my mind how one man can be such a wheelhouse of perpetual innovation and invention.
Folks, we are dealing with the modern day Tesla of hammock invention.
Dutch, what is that endless well from which you draw inspiration?
I'm not necessarily taking credit, but I did recommend "The Mantis" on the naming contest for the Half-Zipped (Swift) Hammock. So maybe my suggested name subliminally got stuck into Dutch's head. :-)
I probably didn't win that contest because he had a new product in mind with this name, now it's confirmed!
Looks awesome by the way and love the logo as well.

Mantis Adapt to their surroundings by using camouflage and prey on small bugs/insects.
Goes with the bug theme and the Chameleon type adaptability theme. Plus they are insect predators, just like I want my bugnet to be (Unless rolled back, of course).
Note: Their fighting like stance is cool and they are generally awesome looking."

Ah-ha... Spliced on makes much more sense in my humble opinion!
That greatly changes my initial impression of the non-splice version and makes it a very nice option I'd strongly consider.
With the splice on option that also allows one to use a loopie sling in place of a continuous loop on one side; giving you that extra bit of fine tuning that can be missing in a daisy chain suspension.
I generally pass on daisy chains because it seems I end up 'mid loop' more often than I like and have no real issues with whoopie slings.
But a loopie sling equipped Mantis spliced on to the system makes the spider daisy chain a much more viable system for me.
Nice job!
300 lb weight limit per piece or higher?

I've had a pair of Mantises for a while now. If you're using daisy chains you have to take a look at these. I like them better than carabiners.
