    No Sniveller Selection Help

    All-

I'm planning on taking advantage of the Jacks' sale this weekend and have decided on getting a No Sniveller and and a MWUQ4. However, I'm having trouble deciding on the right size for the NS.

I'm 5' 10", which according to the Jacks' site is the upper limit for a regular sized quilt. Will the regular sized hammock be ok or should I go with a long? Also, I'm a side sleeper and was wondering if I should go with the Sierra Sniveller might be better, though I'm probably not going to be using on the ground too much.

Thanks so much for the help. I really appreciate all of the great advice I've gotten so far on HF.

    Sincerely,
    Dave-O

If you are in doubt, go with the Long. This way you can pull it over your head if you wish. According to the site, the difference is only 2oz... a very small weight penalty IMO, and the price difference is only $10... or in your case of the sale, $5. YMMV

Im not sure bout the NO sniv but if the sizes are similar to that of the OLD RAG. I have a old rag reg and Im am also 5'10" and I can pull it over my head with room to spare.

You will love your quilts and the Jacks are great to do business with!

I'm 5-10 and a side sleeper and I find the regular No Sniveller to be just fine in a hammock. It is a bit narrow though on the ground.

I had the same decision to make. I'm 5'10 and I went with the long. I chose the Sierra because of the extra width since I like to hike in the desert and may have to sleep on the ground occasionally.

    vote for reg

I'm almost 6' and the reg is all that you will need for a hammock. if you foresee going to ground often enough the long is better for the extra tucking and cinching at the neck. You will enjoy it, I love using a quilt in the hammock!
