Anyone interested in getting out in Feb? We have four weekends to work with, 2, 9, 16, 23 or possibly a midweek. Anyplace, any date, post what you're up for. It would be great if someone knows of a different spot for us to try.

Post your available dates, whether you might be up for a midweek and a spot you think would be good.

Hmm, I'd like to get out this weekend. Was packed up to crash the last hang and work got in the way so I'm thinking I'll be going out this weekend for sure. I've never done Shawnee but hear it's hard. I've hard Salt Fork is nice but not sure about the camping situation. Also wouldn't mind shooting down to RRG and making a little weekend of it.

I think I'm good for all but the weekend of the 16/17th and I am up for just about anywhere, but please not Mohican at least NOT site 9 or 10.
Saturday nights are more likely to be available than a Friday.

OK! here's the scoop! I have secured Peewee Hollow for Feb. 23-25. Boy Scout rules apply since there will be scouts at another campsite. There is a well you can get water. No bathrooms so bring a shovel. If this grabs momentum I will post full details. I can see about bringing a truck load of firewood as well.

So far, this looks good. Is this in Wayne County? Let's see who else has availability. Fickle and Redwing, are you available only on the dates you mentioned or is there some flexibility?

OK! here's the scoop! I have secured Peewee Hollow for Feb. 23-25.

Peewee Hollow is a great location. I've hung there many times in years past. I'd be interested in attending if we can work it out.

I got in touch with Weberjr86 and he said he'd come to the Peewee hang. Waiting to hear from Roogles. I think I am going to just lock into Peewee. If you rather not attend this one by all means keep the planning going. As long as everyone hangs this month I am happy. It'd be neat to see Ohio having several hangs this month and plenty for folks to attend. If you have trouble finding this location you may contact me via call/text @330-412-8467 and I can come get you.

Ancient Adena Indians lived in this area. Three of their burial mounds on the Hogsback trail on the east end of this property. The mounds were excavated many years ago. We will be camping in the upper middle area of this map by the shelter by the #8 which is the big field and activity area. We have permission to hang in the pines along the side of this field. There are also trees we can hang on the other side of this field. MUST EITHER WRAP TREES OR USE 1" OR LARGER WEBBING. There is a parking area right beside the shelter.

This will be a car-camp style and we won't be far from vehicles. There is also a hand pump well we can get water from but we may need water to prime it (not sure). Just be prepared with some water in case. I know some like to bring beverages of the adult flavor I recommend keeping from sight and use a travel mug or something. Outa sight outa mind.
