Hk, myself and daughter will be arriving either Thursday night or Friday morning. Depends on the drive after a half days work Thursday.

As for rules, we really don't have any? It's a "police yourselves" kinda hang. We generally ask that you be considerate of others, but don't really "forbid" anything? Golden rule, and what not. Somebody correct me if I'm misstating something.

As for a potluck, bring whatever you feel you can muster.
Don't want to cook? Then don't No worries. Snacks, beer, fruit, all sorts of uncooked items share well.

And yeah, Ted made corn chowder and had to bring it home two years ago. We never really "settled" on the idea of a potluck that year. It never really convalesced in the planning stages. I'm hoping to avoid such things this year, though.

Dunno, but I think Justin mentioned something about it in one of his posts. HOWEVER: Trikertom did mention putting together a kayak trip down the New Meadows river way in the beginning:

"I can make some arrangements for a kayak trip down the New meadows river for anyone that is interested. You would kayak through a bunch of islands.. I will work on it when i get back to maine next month and keep u posted

    trikertom"

Any chance of that still happening? Sounds interesting.

Laura, I noticed you are not on the sign up sheet. I moved myself to confirmed. Is Mike coming too?

I can bring an extra kayak. It's a Pungo 140 with a gigantic cockpit so I would not recommend taking it on the open ocean.

NJH2H - Any chance you can grab me a 12 pack of adult beverage in NJ? I can PM the details. As far as I know, this particular cider only comes as far North East as New Jersey.

Concerning the whale watch, all I’ve heard is rumors... I really have no idea

haha!! We are lucky with taxes.. one of the ONLY good thing about where we are.. and that's really no consolation anymore between commuting, other taxes, gas (no longer competitive with other states), etc. etc...That was my first thought when I saw this hang... oh man.. Us going to this hang with great people and great food.. and somewhere near the coast no less.... this could put Ted over the edge, to just pull up stakes and go live in Maine Although I'll need some help figuring out how to stay warm during the longer winters...my only hesitation with moving north..

Slight side note.. Who of you all are born/bred Mainers.. vs. "naturalized" from other parts?

    Re: ??z

Nope. Rev. elfLiza is slaving away Down South on her yearly fundraiser luncheon for her health-care NGO

I can make the corn chowder again if anyone is interested... I don't remember exactly why we didn't get to eating it that year. I know it was last year's Harold when Gil used all my 'taters and bacon for a "Bacon Pie" before I got to finish the chowder....
    AH, adventures in fine dining!
