So how's it going everybody?!? I just recently found this site and am forever grateful!!! So I have been experimenting for the last season making cargo tree hammock platform things. The first two I made are fantastic and strong shrimp netting. I weaved some rope (they use for lobster traps) around the edges and tied them to create loops for tie offs at five points(so it is taught and flat). They are cool, but I wanted to try my hand at actually tying a cargo type hammock net with rope, and hanging that up.
My question is what type of rope should I use. Like
What weight test and material? And should I use stronger rope for ridge lines?is there like a site I could get a crash course in ropes and nets and how to make em?? I'm just getting started in this hammock world. Thank you!!
