I've mentioned this to Dutch previously. I bought a Chameleon side car a few weeks ago and it listed shipping charges as $15 for a $40 item. However, when I checked out, it showed the actual charges as $3.50. So the problem is not at check-out, but before.

Nah, you're just misreading it. It's actually another product. It's Federal Express Ground, ya know, the ground from a Federal Express shipping facility delivered to your home. They don't want to ship too much of it to buyers or their trucks will break down more often due to all of the holes dug out of the ground that they have to drive over. This is why they charge so much for it.
but really, you should mention it as a likely glitch in their system to Dutch.
It’s a glitch. I used another company website and it said FedEx was $1,320 for overnight. O_o
I know it’s not correct, but glitches sometimes happens. The default could be set for another country.

They have been having trouble with shipping ever sense they launch their new site. shoot them an email and they will fix it.
By all means, let's argue about whether or not a hammock will hurt a tree. All the while ignoring the fact that there is an island of garbage the size of Texas floating in the Pacific ocean. Or how about the fact that over 75% of the world's nuclear reactors are leaking...
