best option for clipping tree strap

Using the "strap works" 1" strap with a cinch buckle.
Currently I am using "beeners" to clip the strap on it's self at the tree, they are kind of large and "fold" the strap, as they do not have "flat" end, they where made for rope not straps.

Looking for something small, that works well with the 1" straps, that connects easy. any body have any idea's ? I can not find anything that exists to fit the bill?

COUGH COUGH "the Dutch Clip" is awesom. Just wait for them to come back around out of production and it fits exactly what you are looking for, lightweight and flat spot for the webbing. Check the Hammockforums store for a pic

If you insist on using a biner, there are biners made for webbing.

The fabled Dutch Clip would be just the ticket but I don't think the Hammock Forums Store has had them in stock for a while.

Actually they were in stock this week, and will be again likely next week.

Mythical indeed. I guess soon you will be trying to convince me that Unicorns & Giraffes are also mythical.

Fear not! I know (cause I have seen them) that Dutch had 75 pairs of Dutch Clips, nearly ready as of 2 weeks ago. All they needed was a bit of polishing till being finished.

Just be patient, they are coming soon.

I already shipped them to the HF store and they will be available early this week at the store. I sent enough to last a couple days I hope. I wanna go hiking soon.

Hiking is way more important than DC's... Go forth and enjoy.
