I am searching for some folk to coordinate with for a section hike of the Foothills Trail. The part from Sloan Bridge to Laurel Valley are all I have left to complete, about 38 miles. Unfortunately, I have only Saturday and Sunday to backpack it, hiking about 16-20 miles.

I've hiked that exact section before a few years earlier, but we took 3 nights. I think it's safe to say that some of the best parts of the FHT are there! I especially loved swimming over to Laurel Fork Falls and jumping into Lake Jocassee when it was summer time, but I doubt you'll be wanting to do that this time of year.

Doh! I have not checked the forums in a while....my apologies!! I am going to backpack from the Bad Creek Access to Frozen Creek Access this weekend. About 21 miles. A dude is going to shuttle me from Frozen Creek at 0700 Saturday.
