Put in point is at the swim beach at anderson rd recreation area.Island is only acssesible by boat,kayak or canoe
island is right accross the swim beach.10 minute paddle to campsite.

Anderson Road Recreation Area – 4060 Anderson Road, Nashville, TN 37217
Take I-40 East from Nashville and take Exit 219 - Stewarts Ferry Pike. Take a right on Stewarts Ferry Pike and travel approximately 5 miles on Stewarts Ferry/Bell Road to Smith Springs Road. Turn left on Smith Springs Road and travel approximately 2 miles to four way stop. Turn left on Anderson Lane and travel approximately 2 miles to campground/day use area.

I will try my best to come, but I'm on-call for work that weekend. I also have a work trip Sunday afternoon. Trying to figure out a way to make it work

We'll have to see about grandbaby birthing visiting maternal dictates, ...but otherwise Stitch and Boone and I hope to be out at least for Friday night.

In my short time hammock camping I went out there twice last year and it was great! I got visited by a raccoon the first time with my son. The second time I went by myself and got visited by a skunk, then 2 raccoons, then 3 coyotes and woke up to a wild pig screaming at about 5am! I still don't know how all of those animals got out there...
