I thought "standard" length was 78"? 60" seems more like a 3/4.

I've made the RSBTR full length kit. I'm not at home right now and can't measure it, but I think mine ended up about 75 inches long. Since I'm 69 inches tall that seemed more than adequate.

I usually aim for mine to be 78" - 80" and about 44" wide. I'm 5'11" and a back sleeper. I prefer the extra length so I have a few extra inches of wiggle up and down without missing the insulation.

Based on CLO, starting at 70F, you're supposed to be able to drop 8 degrees for every 1 oz/sq-yd of weight in Climashield Apex synthetic insulation, which would make CS 6.0 good to 22F, where it is typically advertised as 25F or 30F insulation..

However, more conservatively...

CS 2.5 = 50F
CS 3.6 = 40F
CS 5.0 = 35F (I have never found CS 5.0 to be comfortable all the way to 30F)
(CS 6.0 = 30F, not available in these kits, but definitely good to freezing for most sleepers)
CS 7.5 = 20F
CS 10.0 = 10F

Does the Snugpak close up on the ends? If it does not, you would have to modify it otherwise the warm air would just vent out and cold air would replace it. I would make my own from RSBTR just to be sure, and in fact I am going to soon to have a second warm weather hammock that I can use without so much care like my down quilts.
