I am selling the staff you see at the page above. I only used it for a couple days on the trail. No damage or unusual wear or scratches. I thought the strength and length was very nice and found it very handy. I am simply selling it because I have since purchased a custom staff from ruta locura now that doubles as my WBRR spreader bars. Why use a staff? They are stronger and longer than traditional poles and they leave you with a hand free to take pics and eat food or smoke or whatever you like.

Does this have the titanium tip, or is this one of the older staffs with the copper tip?

I need to point out something I just realized. The grip sleeve is showing signs of wear and will probably separate from the cord at some point. Fortunately this is really not a big deal. That grip is kinda funky anyway how it slides around loosely. I would recommend removing it and wrapping it with some rubber tape like I have done with my new staff. I can tell you that it is a far more functional grip and could be easily added to this staff as well. Some pics to help explain:

I appreciate the extra info and the transparency! I may take a stab at repairing the cord attachment to the grip, or (like you suggested) just take it off and fashion some other form of grip.
