Lespaul, you are screwing up bro, keep the vest and sleeves, just put a windshirt over them. You'll be snug as a bug. I have a primaloft REI (Gossamer, no longer made) that weighs a pound, it is no where nearly as warm as my Golite vest and JRB sleeves. Do you have a JRB HOOD? If not, you need to sew some velcro to your vest collar and get the HOOD.

I have an old one that weighs about that I think. I believe my Golite Cirrus weighs 11 oz. I can't get to my scale right now, if I don't check back manana PM me. I think I paid about $80 shipped from Dom's Outdoor for the vest.
