    1. Really enjoyed the video, and would definitely watch a hammock specific video!

    2. I'm a newbie and I was curious about the comments above about disliking atlas straps. Is there an issue using these style straps?
I'm trying to sort through the multitude of suspension options!

In the video, I noticed you used a 2 Liter Platypus instead of the Sawyer bags. Did any of them leak around the connecting point?

Enjoyed your video. Sounds like you had a really nice experience.

The Sawyer bags are a lot better than they used to be.
    That said, they still pop.
However, my first platypus also popped, or, rather, delaminates somewhere in Virginia.
I just pinched the hole and made it work till I got to the next town and grabbed a few bottles.

Eventually I picked up that 2nd platypus because I liked having the option.

The sawyer bags always developed a hole in the bottom of the bag for me after several hundred miles but they are cheap. I switched to the platty bags and never had an issue but if you are using the sawyer squeeze on them this probably speeds up the chances of popping one or it leaking. I still have my 2L platty bag I used most of the AT and it doesn't leak.

    Check out Evernew

Japanese company, you can find their stuff on amazon. The threads match the sawyer unlike the platypus, which leaks a bit (probably because they made their own filter)

I'm going to do that. Used 2 L Platypus on SHT. It started to leak around the connection point after about a week of use. Surrounded area with towel to make things work. Days later, another hiker donated a Sawyer bag so things worked out well.

I have used Sawyer, Platy and Evernew Bags. Was satisfied with the Evernew the most. However, I am now using and carrying the Vecto Water Container from CNOC Here is a vid of it: https://youtu.be/KY_tJyxvRkk

+1. I think it is because it seems to be easier to fill from various water Sources. The difference a year makes sometimes.
