    Recently bought ANOTHER knot-tying guide. Found this summation interesting and gave me a sense of "stress" "release" (too obscure for knot humor?!):

    "There are several types of knots including bends, hitches, loop knots, lashings, binding knots, stopper knots, and splices. The language of knots is complicated since, for example, a fisherman's bend is actually a hitch and a fisherman's knot is a bend."
