    Winter Hammock Sock

Has anyone else tried the Dutchware Gear Winter Hammock sock. I have only used it for one night. I stayed warm and dry but have not used it multiple nights. Anyone have a condensation problem?

I have used it on quite a few trips. Never had an issue with condensation. It will raise the temp 5-10 degrees so if you have too many layers or too warm a bag you'll start sweating and that's where people have an issue with condensation. I love that winter sock.

It kept me plenty warm at 20 degrees with the snugpak under-blanket and hammock quilt. I didn't notice a moisture buildup but I only slept out the one night.

I've been using the winter socks almost every hang for the last 2 years now.I do a lot of camping on the coast were it's often foggy and very windy, the sock helps keep my quilts from getting Dew on them and helps keep the wind from stealing my heat. only time I've ever had condensation issues is when I had the vent Twisted closed and it was sub 30 degree weather. Often in the summer I leave the tarp at home and just rock the sock as external shelter.
By all means, let's argue about whether or not a hammock will hurt a tree. All the while ignoring the fact that there is an island of garbage the size of Texas floating in the Pacific ocean. Or how about the fact that over 75% of the world's nuclear reactors are leaking...

I have one. Haven't used it over night, but I have for some cold weather naps. Seems loose and vented enough to keep moisture at bay.
