Has anyone tried an after market inflator? Hand pump, foot pump, battery powered pump like the Therm-A-Rest NeoAir mini pump?

In chair mode with he pad full the zipper chewed my legs up bad.

Edit: I have no idea why that loaded sideways
A more narrow hang spacing helps ease that shin pressure.

Thanks Shug. I will give it a go. Maybe shorten the ridge line with a carabiner. Good thinking

Oooooh... great minds working is a B-U-T-ful thang!
Just "shorten the ridgeline"... whadda concept!

[only negative that occurs to me is that the bug net may get too floppy... but for sitting up, it will be stowed anyway]

Thanks for doing that shug. The amok pad definitely seems less noisy. The orange amok also seems less noisy lol

Not sure if I'd want to try it, but I bet a little baby powder on the pad would get rid of that noise.

SWODaddy~ I'm not sure that would help.
The Draumr has a heavier, denser fabric than most bananas, and I think that's where the sounds come from. I believe the sound is just a part of the "AMOK experience".
Quite seriously, I'm going into my third year with a 3.0 and I sleep so sound and comfortably that I had never even paid any attention to a scritchy sound until this post.
