7th Annual Black Hills Hang, Sheridan Lake SD, August 23rd, 24th & 25th

Brian and Susan, thank you both for making all of us feel so welcome on our visit to South Dakota! We had such a good time seeing your beautiful state and making many new friends.Everyone made us feel welcome and we felt right at home. I’m sure we we will be back... thanks again for all of the hard work that you guys did!

Couldn't agree more or say it better. Sheridan Lake is a beautiful location with so many great sights to see close by. You are both wonderful hosts and did a great job planning and executing a very fun hang. Your families are wonderful as well and I really appreciate being able to join your special day.

It was great to meet everyone at the hang and Odin and I had a great time. He even got to visit some SD monuments for the first time.

Another excellent hang! Nice meeting new people, fellow hangers, friends and family of the bride and groom, as well. This side of the hill should be considered for a re-location next year. Much better hang selection of trees, water points etc. In the afternoon there is more shade. At night the noise from the lake is muffled somewhat too. The wedding was epic! Things started out looking grim. The dark skies and sprinkles cleared out, the sun broke through and it turned into a fine time for a wedding. Truly a great omen for the marriage. The preacher is a real character. "This is called tying the knot!" The bride and groom are truly blessed!

i agree with everything you say about the site we used this year compared to in the past, the only thing though is, the traditional site costs less, the site we had this year when it is all said and done with being more money for the sight and slightly higher booking fees adds up to just over $200.00 more than our traditonal site

Hi Squirrely, I don't think that boothill is monitoring the forum at this time. There is not going to be a hang this year, Brian and Susan are taking the time in August to go out traveling this year. Hopefully next year.- Cheers
