nice vid but better uq, one of the finest i like it, what craftmanship!!
i do not remember the question, however i believe beer is the answer
Hey! Fun video. Thanks for the look-see. Looks like you aren't the only one with great toys in your household. I think your dog REALLY wanted to be on top of the UQ. I'm impressed that puppy stayed respectfully off.

Nice review. One thing I'd point out if you didn't already know is that if using the quilt with a gathered end hammock which it looks like you use from your profile, you can do away with the carabiners and just hook the end shock cord loops over the whipping bundle which is simpler.
Thanks for the review Greenlespaul. I believe your quilt is up to 2oz overstuffed which is alot for a 3/4 quilt. That tends to make it a little harder to compress... Just as a note, that quilt would probably be considered a winter Ptarmigan. Good to hear you got it down to 11deg.
On the suspension. I do not use the cord lock on the suspension anymore. I am just using a series of knots for adjustment. Simple enough. If anyone did not get a biner with their quilt shoot me a pm and I will remedy that.... The tie outs on the side are to help marry it to different hammocks out there if needed. Most people do NOT find they need the tie outs.
That dog DID looks like he was ready to do some field testing...

Thanks everyone...
yeah stormcrow thats what i been meaning to do...was just get rid of the cordlock and tie it off to the size i need ...
over all i really like it...it's a great all year UQ
i think for the summer i'm going to make or get a sewn through uq to cu a few oz
so i'll either be getting anothing uq from ya...or getting down from ya
the dog wanted to get on it really bad...but she knew she would get blasted at if she did....she would look up at me and look at it...
It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold
Good review! Liked the ending... Looking forward to your next video.
Thanks!
GP,
I couldn't help notice that there is an "ORANGE" cord lock that you have...I received a black one on my UQ. That must have been a grave mistake back in Stormcrow land.....because everybody knows (if'n they watched Hawk-eye's video) that if properly engaged an "ORANGE" thingee on your gear makes you go invisible! So that must have been put on there so that you could use the cloaking device and not be found by others when you really wanted to sleep for a long time by mistake.
Keep it..but don't tell anybody! LOTFLMAO

Thanks, greenlespaul! Great to get a look at your new toy!
Nice review video...thanks.
just a few questions mate.
1.How old is that doggy...very well behaved.
2. If you winter camp, then why do you have to wait for the snow conditions to improve?
3. Why did you get it overstuffed if you are not going to use it in the colder temps. and if you are cutting weight why you add 2oz of overstuff. Any body can camp when it's nice.
You know I'm just poking fun at you...right?
Thanks again for a good gear video and enjoy that Crowsnest UQ whenever you want to. YMMV/HYOH!
