I weigh in at 200 and the Robic 1.2 is a little stretchier than HyperD 1.6, but I enjoy them both. Hexon 1.6 will be a little firmer than HyperD 1.6. Only way to know for sure is to try them both if possible, you can probably sell the runner-up here w/o problems.

The WBBB whipping method is my go-to since it simply cannot fail and suffers from no stitch elongation issues. I concur w/ above advice about trying this or XTrekker's method if you're concerned about pushing weight limit of the fabric. For testing fabrics though, nothing beats a simple no-sew accordion fold towards the center w/ a sheet bend using long amsteel loops.
It is a very alert, active sheep, with a stylish, lively carriage.

I use a Juki & Pfaffs w/ assorted attachments, and have serviced lots of vintage machines. Any questions?

I think it depends on what you want. I have a 1oz robic hammock I've used occasionally for 2 years or so. I've put at least 300 pounds between two people and some overnights in that range. It's not recommended and it shows deformations in the weave and small holes (so does my abused 3 year old 1.6 hyperD) but sometimes you don't really want a crazy durable hammock because you want excuses to get/make more. None of the fabrics I've tried up to now beat standard 1.9oz from RSBTR.
