Good luck, good hiking and good hanging!

Strategy without tactics is the slowest route to victory. Tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat. -- Sun Tzu, The Art of War.
Have a great hike and I, too, am interested in reading about your time on the Trail.

Thanks for the kind words and the good lucks.
I have a lot to do between now and then, but it will all work itself out. Unfortunately I have to finish up school when I get back. But oh well, I'll be hiking.

Lots of folks are interested in your hike and your journal, HE. But remember - your hike comes first...don't let journaling become a chore and interfere with the reason you're out there in the first place. We can always hear the stories when you get back...but this hike is for YOU! Make the most of it...wish I could be there.
That said, I hope you do keep a good journal for us to read!
“Republics are created by the virtue, public spirit, and intelligence of the citizens. They fall when the wise are banished from the public councils because they dare to be honest, and the profligate are rewarded because they flatter the people, in order to betray them.” ~Judge Joseph Story

IMPOSSIBLE JUST TAKES LONGER
My love and prayers go with you. Don't forget to take our phone numbers.
Have a safe trip. Maybe we can hook up when you are in PA or NY.
Thanks for the advice. I wanted to do at least a journal for me. I think they are fun to read later. I also enjoyed reading other people's TJ and wanted to spare my trip with my family and friends.
I will have to say that I am going to keep it PG since I have young nieces and nephews that will be reading it. Other than that I am going to try not to filter anything out. Yet another reason to put a disclaimer on my first entry.

Good luck. PM me when you get to NC and maybe we can beat some brush together. BD
