As for my Speer hammock, I bought it at a local store after trying out all their other hammocks on a stand they set up for me. I was lying in the Speer when a man came up to me and asked how I liked it. Great I said , but he insisted I try out the other hammocks and proceeded to give me a lot of advice. After I settled on the Speer, he took a book on hammocks out of his bag, signed it and gave it to me with a big smile. It was Ed Speer! Great guy.
Ah yes, I have met Ed Speer a couple of times over the years! Way back in the day! And his book got me started! Great guy. It is too bad he sudenly up and left the hammock world some years ago, I don't think any one has heard from him since then. The company that makes Switchback hammocks, TTTG, took over his products.

Seems like this might work with KamSnaps to add additional layers, thus avoiding the stitching and unstitching needed for adjustment.

I was at the HotSprings hang when Ed announced that Dale and John were taking over Ed's product line. (I own a Switchback, and love it)
