Ok, I needed this after my forcefield malfunctioned last weekend:

    Thursday Night
Clear, with a low around 51. East wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

    Friday
Sunny, with a high near 84. Calm wind.

    Friday Night
Mostly clear, with a low around 56.

    Saturday
Mostly sunny, with a high near 80.

    Saturday Night
Mostly clear, with a low around 55.

    Sunday
Sunny, with a high near 80.

*updated with the latest...just gotta gloat a little about this weather!

Warm, but very low humidity expected and cooler nights compared to what we've been having. Great trip for the Mamajamba tarp that's been shelved since I got the Thunderfly.

It's over. Apparently the reactor powering my forcefield has shut down. Twice in a row now. This one was bad. I took a beating for about an hour with a couple of fakeouts where it seemed to be over, only to come back with more fury a minute later.

This could be a turning point for me. Silvrsurfr said to get a DCF Palace Tarp...I'm actually considering that now. This "choose the tarp according to the forecast" is a fools game.

That looks brutal. Dirty looking spot but it looks familiar. We had that same rain hit us about 80 miles east in the thumb. Buckets is an understatement.

I was caught in a similar situation Memorial Day weekend. Luckily I had my Thunderfly, and those little beaks make all the difference in the world.

Thanks for the laugh! Were you able to salvage the trip or did you have to pack up and out?

It was totally fine. Warm temps and even though things were slow to dry the important stuff was packed away.

Exactly 30 minutes later (to escape mosquitoes in the woods)...
