These may work for some applications but I have had 2 pair of Dutch's fail on me (stretched into a U shape) and let go of my tarp ridgeline. Yes it was windy but my Superfly rings held fine. Same size tarp.
Not saying they are bad, just make sure they fit your application.
what you are seeking are called LADY RINGS in Hobie Cat and other trailered boat sailing/racing circles
called LADY RINGS affectionately because they require a good finger nail to open for use
they are used instead of cotter pins in clevis pins for securing the standing rigging to the hull chain plates
some of the newer units have one end bent slightly for easier use
look to your local sailboat shops particularly the Hobie shops
West Marine(one of the pricier sources) offers them in several diameters(select size prior to ordering)

As I mentioned earlier, I had found the rings at the marine shop (West Marine) and they were all too heavy or too small for our purposes. Warbonnet was the best option. They use the split rings on the ridge tie outs on their tarps. Hard to beat a known and proven entity.
Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....

I have some of the Nama Claw split rings. Small enough to use with my Nama Claws with but still big enough to fit my toggles through.
I too have purchased them from Brandon. It would be nice if they were listed on WB's website.
I didn't think I'd need these after I got titanium split rings... but I lost one completely and the other pulled into an oval tensioning my tarp on a trip this weekend. It just compounded other troubles I was having with my setup.
Just ordered a 6-pack. My Nama Claws were about the only thing that didn't give me issues on this trip. Thanks Countrybois.

Had the same thing happen to my Superfly split rings. Better the rings then the tarp and is was really windy when it happened. Shouldn't of been out there. Warbonnet had two in the mail right after I contacted them. I really like there gear and service. But to the point my local Ace Hardware and Aubuchon stores had them in stock. Bought a couple extra and they are now in my cordage bag.
My SuperFly rings bent during a particularily windy night but they did not give way. I thought about replacing them myself with something stronger (Amazon or whatever). Then I thought . . . I'd rather have the rings bend all the way open than have a ripped tarp.
Contacted Warbonnet and they sent me two new ones. If I had known they sell them Id have just bought them.
