    BB Tinkering

I just got my WBBB D1.7 in the mail today. I am so excited! It is my first hammock and can't wait to use it.

I am a tinkerer and can't help but modify things. What are some mods, hacks, additions you all have made to this wonderful product?

I sewed a small loop with elastic cord, toggle and mitten hook to help keep my underquilt in place so there's no shoulder slip on my WB. That worked so well, I did same thing on other side down at foot box. The elastic cord and toggle is on there so if I accidentally pull on the underquilt too hard it doesn't rip anything, the toggle gives and the elastic stretches.

happy camper great ideah, I posted some ?'s in your orginal thread in order not to hijack this one, dont want to get in trouble now do I

OP their are lots of Mods you can make to the WBBB, I left mine just the way it is, thats how I personally like it. But the most popular mod (I think IMO) would probally be woopie slings, their are a bunch of members who make and sell them. Check out Opies website http://www.whoopieslings.com/. Enjoy the new BB. I know I am.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

A second shelf for the plasma TV, and a coffeemaker.

Now all I need to do is finish the fridge and I can live in it.

I see weight is not of concern, but a French press requires no power, is lighter, and produces a better brew.. but I digress..

Will be working on HappyCamper's UQ loop mod to prevent shoulder/foot box slip.
