I have seen somewhere on here where someone made a mixture of sylicone and mineral spirits but I didn't understand what to do after that. can anyone give me STEP BY STEP instructions on how to do this? i am hoping to make my own hammock and Tarp for a trip this may... HELP!!!

jeffjenn pointed you in the right direction for instructions.
Silnylon is a great choice for your tarp but generally you want a hammock to made from uncoated fabric so it breathes.
