    It only seems that way. That's a DIY 2" seatbelt webbing hugger in a Marling spike hitch with a 3" toggle from Lawson. https://lawsonequipment.com/Hardgood...gle-p1130.html

    The bigger knot seems to let the whoopie embed itself a little better. a 3" toggle works, but takes a little care drawing up. A tent stake works just as well and you don't have to be careful drawing it up.

    I ended up cutting some aluminum tube stock from home Depot into little dowels which did the job

    just take your axe, and chop off a tree limb (preferably deadwood) and chop it to size. Dungeons and Dragons...

    I just wrap the seatbelt strap around the tree and then hook my climbing rate carabiners to hook up my regular straps.
