Neat idea, but it wouldn’t be quite as useful for what I’m thinking of doing with it.

Ok... the art is done. I went both ways, and then we’ll run a test and see which way people like better

That looks pretty good and perfectly functional and I like how you went with orange because coincidentally my whole theme is brown and orange. You should probably offer yellow as an option too though because I am sure many folks would like that too.

I do think it looks a little basic though. You guys are artists, I think you know what I mean. Give it a little character. Try centering the marks. Or rotating the numbers. Maybe use a different font for the numbers, like digital clock numbers to make them more legible and compensate for the fuzzy edges and small sizes.

This way the numbers are facing you when hanging your hammock and not upside down half the time depending on you location. Why not use the full width of the straps and make the marks longer? The boxier numbers will probably be easier to make out. You should also put this print on both sides of the strap for obvious reasons.

Not a bad idea here. Can make it more fun and interesting for sure!

I'll be making an order soon and we see where this goes when I do.

    Cheers!

For me, the value of this would be when making small adjustments to the hang by untying and retying a becket hitch or J-bend. For example, if after initial setup you realise you need to shorten or lengthen things by a couple of inches, this makes figuring out the right spot on the webbing to retie the knot much easier.

I've gone for the quick and dirty solution - a permanent marker to draw a line every 10 cm on my webbing. It's enough for me. But the nicely printed version would be...nice.
