The Journey was a dream under wet rainy alpine conditions at over 11K feet. It was almost like sleeping in a tent. I plan on getting a pole mod for this tarp. No matter what the season if your gonna have a lot of wind and rain this is nice when your stuck under it for a while. You can move around and your gear stays dry no matter how bad the weather gets. It also survived a hail storm without a scratch.

Has anyone used the 12' with the warbonnet ridgerunner? Wondering how well it works.

A 12 footer should work fine as I use a 12ft SimplyLightDesigns Winter Haven with my Warbonnet Ridgerunner and it works great.

Any idea what your distance is from apex to apex (end to end on the suspension triangles)? Thanks.

can you provide more info on the poles you're using? it looks like you're using fiberglass poles? i was planning to get 3 sections of 18" .344 aluminum poles (54" total length) to do a similar exterior pole mod.
