The other 3 sites are down in the gorge. 4 is on a ridge so it's easier out the next day. Getting there so late it doesn't matter to me where we set up.

Site 4 is good for 3- 4 folks. Not sure about more...RW is the man for this site.
Park in the lot close to 97 (there is a sign for backpackers)
Walk south through the horse trailer area, past the gates to the shelter area.
Very close on the left is a trail heading directly east. That's your trail.
I'm thinking it's straight for half a mile then a 90 turn south. keep on that until you see the sign for site 4 on the left.

Red Wing, They are working on the wrangler right now...not sure about if they'll get done in time. When will you be leaving Columbus?

Diz already there, turtle en route, me +1 heading up in hour n a half
I was going to do an overnight at Mohican with Redwing last night, but he's getting some of my bad luck and couldn't make it. WX was great with low humidity, mild temps and just enough wind to keep it pleasant. Hung at site 10 and, surprisingly, didn't see any raccoons! In the past, I've had a hell of a time scaring them away.
BTW, Seems like the road into the North lot is getting pretty bad. If you have a low clearance vehicle, go slow.

So bummed I couldn't make it man. Think my car is done. Should have a new one end of the week and I'll be oscar Mike again.
Howdy all- My name is Patrick and I am an avid hammock camper transplant to Ohio from Colorado. Looking to get out and meet some fellow hikers and campers. Thinking of making a solo run through Zaleski state Forrest this weekend unless anyone else has anything going on...
Cheers!
