    I have never thought the V was worth the attention it seems to garner.

    Tree strap comes of one side of the tree and RL comes off the other side of the tree, and ne'er the two shall meet.

    Quite a few times, I've pitched the tarp in such a manner that tarp and/or RL touch the hammock suspension a bit even after I get in the hammock. tarp_with_trekking_pole_bungee.jpg

    I don't worry about it... maybe I should.

    Stingerz solves the problem for me. Can be tricky depending on the setup/trees since every hang varies a little. However, I’ve never looked back from using Stingerz.
