Any recent Insul-Bright results

I found some threads on this suff, but nothing recent.

I picked up some of this Insul-Bright yesterday, to make a sleeping bag pad, to use inside the bag.

I have the top cover cut from fleece, but havevn't decided on the bottom cover.
I am thinking to layer it as:
top piece:
fleece
middle :
Insul-Bright
Bottom :
undecided so far.

I am hoping to use it as a pad inside the sleeping bag. 24" by 72"

The threads I found go back as far as 2007 and a few in 09.

Any input?

Just used some the other day to make a freezer bag cozy. Used the instructions found here.

I don't know why it wouldn't make a Randy cozy too.

Well I made one lastnight,,,
one layer of fleece,
the insul-bright in the middle and the bottom layer was nylon digital camo.

Using it inside of the sleeping bag lastnight, 39*, worked beautifully.no other pads or bottom insulation.

It didn't get as cold as I wanted, and we only have a few more cold snapps left this year, then it is bug-net time.
I will get some pics up later after daylight.

Has anyone tried to use the same setup – fleece sandwiched between two layers of insul-bright and outer layers of rip stop nylon as a under quilt?
