    Lol! We could do that! When zi was teaching Flycasting for LL Bean, we used Hula Hoops with a rubber fish inside to practice accuracy. Was a good drill for timing line release and power application. Would be fine to use the ice hole for a contest! Line gets pretty stiff on the ice, though, and pulling it out of the hole against the rough ice edge means we should use old lines! LOL!
