So we are closing in on the eve of winter NEHHA. My apologies for being quiet. Today I picked up and delivered the wood to the location. Half a cord sitting there waiting to keep us all warm in heat and spirit. I talked to Paul (one of the new owners). The water is on and the two holer is stocked. I did notice that the road is washed out a bit so please be careful coming down the hill. Especially those with low vehicles.
I don’t know the ice situation yet but we have had a lot of cold nights. So expecting it to be pretty thick. At the moment there isn’t any snow on the ground though we are suppose 1-2” tonight. So hopefully it will feel like winter.
Lastly between the wood and the rental for the location I’m expecting the price to be $15 per person. There is also a raffle this weekend. If you have anything you want to add to the mix please bring it. All donations are greatly appreciated.

Regarding the raffle. not many vendors responded. I was soliciting for the raffle during their busy time and asking them to mail donations during holidays that this event is immediately following. So hopefully folks may bring gear to recycle and raffle to raise a few bucks!
I've got:
1 Warbonnet SuperFly
1 Hammock Gear charcoal gray economy burrow twenty degree
1 Hammock Gear burnt orange economy incubator 20 degree
10 hangtime hooks, (2 brown, 2 red, 2 blue, 2 yellow, 2 purple)

Sadly I cannot make this much anticipated hang. I'm building my home in the White Mountains and we are playing catch up to the schedule. The over 2 feet of snow this year, although absolutely beautiful, has made progress very challenging. Have fun and I'll catch you next time!
