it's basically whoopies, but you put them on the toggle, jeje
they replaced the continuous loop with a metal piece
looks like a half dozen pieces to go missing in the woods

All I can say is: oofah.

I really wonder where the product managers at the big hammock companies get their ideas. Somehow I doubt it's Hammockforums.
Other than that my impression is that it's a strange solution to a problem that doesn't really exist.

My Clark Jungle Hammock from 1999 came with an awful 1/2" yellow polypro rope fed through the end channels that was meant to be tied around the trees. I see in the video they still had rope as their suspension. I guess this is and improvement but with aspects that are unnecessary.
Don't let life get in the way of living.
The one plus I did like is the adjustable tree strap idea. Not sure it is really a solution, but worth a thought or two. The silly cheap cord lock on a metal bolt was very funny.
I saw "new suspension", then a 4.5 minute video, and assumed it would be someone overthinking a simple process.
Yup!
So basically the harbor freight of suspensions.
I would not trust that cord lock to remain in place on those bolt threads. The whole thing seems like something you would jury-rig in your garage.

I bet the owner of Clark Hammocks is a whiz at building Rube Goldberg machines.
