I did about 500 miles to the Black Hills hang (1000 miles roundtrip) and I don't know that I was even in the top ten for distance for this one hang. There are definitely some people going a long way to participate, but meeting new people is definitely worth it.

1500 miles. I flew from Boston to Orlando to attend Hangcon this year. My job involves a lot of business trips, so I have lots of frequent flyer points. When I got home, my wife said, "so this is going to be an annual thing for you, right?"

About 600 Miles each way to the Yates Place Camp, Troy, NC from NJ, for the Time Change Hang. Have attended the last 5. A great group of people attend the event.

I did about 850 miles to East Tennessee for the Hootenanny Hang, a ways past that to visit WV in WV, and nearly 1550 miles to the Idaho Hang. They were all worth it. Got my eyes on Michigan next.

under 4 hours is about my limit for driving to a group hang, unless there is a more compelling reason, such as the group hang coinciding with a week off from work.

I want to visit US as soon as possible and I would like to take advantage of to join on a group hang.
I will beat the distance, I think

Indeed. Although Dutch traveled to Scandinavia, Scotland, and ???
