Anyone feel like getting out in this heat and humidity? MTC started a thread about a paddle hang which would be great, but, for those of you with out a boat, any interest in getting out for a night or two? Shout out if you are interested.

I would not mind doing a paddle hang. But would not be available until the 27th.
I think I'm good for this weekend one night. Float or not, good with either. Where you thinking HP?
Wow, this month was nuts. But I've got to get out, so I'm thinking I'll make a trip this Thursday. If anyone is available, I'd love the company. If not, maybe next month!

God has cared for these trees, saved them from drought, disease, avalanches, and a thousand tempests and floods. But he cannot save them from fools. --John Muir
Well, life keeps trying to mess up my plans. A friend asked me to house sit for them at the last minute. So, two birds, one stone. I used it as an excuse to test out some equipment I never really used. A Hammeck hammock stand, Chinese versions of a trangia and wood burner, and a cheapo, Woot tarp. Pretty mild temps and the only excitement was when a small herd of deer showed up! Oh, yeah, one of piece of gear, a first generation night vision scope. Worked great on the deer!
