WEIGHS JUST 160 G! Genuine SLD Zippered Gear Hammock is superbly sewn by Jared's out of durable genuine mil-spec Crye Multicam 1.9 oz ripstop nylon, inset with a full-length separating YKK #3 zipper. Packs down small. Approx 52" long by 48" wide with 7/64" Amsteel continuous loops through the triple-stitched sewn end channels, this gear hammock can hold equipment than you can carry. Completely encloses my 68L ULA Curcuit backpack and will suspend most packs up to 80L either under on alongside your hammock -- just add your suspension of choice (like #3 below). WEIGHS UNDER 60 G! Genuine SLD Quick Flys -- now just called "2-Piece Skins Tarp Stuff Sack" -- is Jared's ultralight silpoly version of the classic two-piece "snake skins" concept. These will fit virtually all silpoly or silnylon standard-width hex tarps (and most standard-width winter tarps like my SLD and UGQ tarps) with ridge lines up to 12 feet in length with ample overlap in the middle for full enclosure. If you hate trying to set up a tarp in the wind, these skins are for you. I use them in fair weather to hang my tarp above the hammock out of the way for stargazing but keep it ready to deploy in less than a minute just by staking it out. Installed on a tarp but never packed away or deployed in the field, these sleeves are in unused, like-new condition! Handy cord pockets keep your RL tie-outs or CRL wrangled; convenient accessory loops keep the ends of the sleeves in place on your ridge line.
