Do you leave your tie-outs permanently on your tarps?
so if you have several tarps you have several sets or do you have one set and swap them over depending on what tarp you pick.

I leave them on a tarp. I'll get new ones for new tarps.
I like refried beans. That's why I wanna try fried beans, because maybe they're just as good and we're just wasting time. You don't have to fry them again after all.
I use dedicated tie-outs for each of my tarps and leave them on the tarp.

I'm one of the odd guys out. I just don't like things dangling from my tarp. I store the tie-outs separately.
I leave them tied on, and I use Andrew Skurka's methods for tying them out.

Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....

Each of my tarps has 1.5 mm Z-line at each corner. For my tarps with doors, each door gets its own 2 foot piece of 3/8 inch shock cord.
Some will keep their line tied to their stakes rather than their tarp. I switch stakes depending on the area/ ground/soil where I intend to camp.

Same here. Only thing is permanently attached to my tarp is the CRL with prussik soft shackles and then snake skinned.Originally Posted by TominMN

Each tarp has its own guylines and CRL. No way I'm removing guylines and CRL every time I camp!

One less thing to check when packing gear (both at home and on the trail) so the lines stay on the tarp.
