Just a note to CYA in regards to printing images of currency. Even if it's not on paper. When it comes to the gubberment, you never know.
Section 411 of Title 31 of the Code of Federal Regulations permits the printing, publishing or importation, or the making or importation of the necessary plates or items for such printing or publication, of color illustrations of U.S. currency provided that:
-The illustration must be of a size less than three-fourths or more than one and one-half, in linear dimension, of each part of any matter so illustrated;
-The illustration must be one sided; and
-All negatives, plates, digitized storage medium, graphic files, magnetic medium, optical storage devices, and any other thing used in the making of the illustration that contain an image of the illustration or any part thereof shall be destroyed and or deleted or erased after their final use in accordance with this section.
I'm not sure of the size of each bill on this pattern, but that may put you in the clear as is. If not, I would erase the serial numbers or replace them with 99999999 and possibly dummy up the images just to be safe. That's why "1 million dollar bills" are legal even if they are life size; they're obviously fake. I'm not a layer or pretend to know the exact answer, but you could swim in legal jargon on this for days and still not get wet.
