Tensahedron Stand - Tarp Suspension System

(Since the main Tensahedron thread is SO massive, I'm starting a thread dedicated to just one of the aspects. I'm hoping this helps others like me find information a bit quicker as they build their own DIY stand.)

In this thread, I want to see how you attach your TARP to your stand. Or is your tarp independent of the stand?

    Pictures appreciated.

Please let us know what is the length of your tarp and the length of the stand's legs.

What is working for you? What would you like to tweak?

Tensahedron Stand - Tarp Suspension System

    https://youtu.be/kbhaLPJhg6k

Tensa4 stand; 8’4” legs. 12’ tarp. I misspoke, saying “your tarp isn’t long enough” but meant “your tarp is too long.”

8' legs. 7' tarp (10' diagonally). Tarp "draped" into my bug net (in part because it rested on my structural ridge line) so I need to improve a bit.

Here is my Minifly on mine. Just run the guylines over the cross sections where hammock hooks on and stake it out.

How much does the stand move when getting in and out? Is it a problem with the tarp staked down?

Properly set up...not very much at all. With a tarp, very little.

I use Tensa's tarp extensions on a T4 and they work like a dream. https://www.tensaoutdoor.com/wp-cont...ension-1.2.pdf , but you could DIY something similar . I use a 12 ft tarp so I need the extensions.

I get very little movement when I get in and out. Nowhere near enough to affect the tarp.
