My klan keeps changing too. Apparently there is a scout trip the same weekend. I will probably have extra gear as well.

Thanks for the heads up guys. I will bring my ground gear, and will take advantage of whatever hammock tech is available. I'll still have the chance to look at gear options even if I don't get to try it.

One thing I wanted to mention, I had intended to be there very early to have time to check out loaner equipment, unfortunately, my son has a test in school that day during last period that he can't miss. I will pick him up at school, but I'm guessing the earliest we will be able to arrive on Friday will be around 6 (it's over two hour drive), which technically is after sunset. We will just have to do our best.

Save room for us: ! We can't wait...

Thanks again everyone who has offered equipment and advice, I can't tell you how much we appreciate it.

    VA - NOVA Hang - Nov 9-11 2018 - Prince William Forest

Just want to update you all with some of the items I have received so far the raffle.

First items in came from our good buddie Shug.

Next Donna and Tim over at 2QZQ sent some incentive to get the UQP we all know we want.
    IMG_0083.jpg

Just tonight I got a nice set of Pillows and a mesh Lazy Slug (coincidentally what I call my kids) Tube from Wilderness Logic.

Finally, Sean aka Wanderlost has put his sewing skills to the test with this wonderful Event Tarp. Dutch has so graciously provided the P2F for this beauty. (I did the design work)
    image1.jpg

Along with the tarp there are a couple of these cool ODH stuff sacks.

(Sorry Sean for exposing your work area to the forums.)

I have heard from a couple other vendors who have expressed interest in sending items. And others I am waiting to hear from. Honestly, I feel real weird asking. But for our first time with a raffle I am very excited. So as Wanderlost said earlier, 'bring your cash'

Had I known you were going to post it, I would’ve taken a better picture...with trees instead of my gear room.

We could still use a better shot of the tarp. The better the pic, the more folks will want it, the more money we raise for the park.

Here's a look at the tarp in its natural Virginian habitat.

The tarp is just shy of 12' in length, so it's nice and spacious. It comes with the a black stuff sack and Reflect-it guy lines.

Ok folks, I just picked up a CRL from Dutch.

I’m not really digging it so far; I may be too used to my stingerz and my tarp in snake skins

Does anyone here have both? What are your thoughts?
