I wear a blindfold. Last time I slept in my hammock I woke up at 10:30 AM. 11 hours of sleep.

I was about to announce a similar thing, glad to hear you've worked it out.

Just this past weekend, in a packed State Park campground, I was able to sleep soundly from 10:30 to 5:30. I woke up wondering what that annoying light was and realized it was the sun starting to come up!!

I must confess I was about to give up on this, so glad I didn't

Still working out the kinks. But i'm more comfortable hanging than on the ground.

Amazing that after a year or two I'm still making little adjustments - but it is clear that getting that comfortable configuration takes a bit more than stringing a tablecloth between two trees. Sometimes guys carry a fat wallet in their pocket and that creates a pressure point. As you get into hammocks - eventually replacing that pad with an under quilt - you will find the fat wallet getting thinner and thinner. It's a feature, not a bug.
