    I would notify Dutch of the miscut length whoops and swap them out for some the correct length.

    Probably would have been good, if I'd done it sooner. I'm heading into the woods in a few days, and I wouldn't feel right returning something that's been in the field.

    The snaps seem like a reasonable solution, and I can just put up with the issue for this week.

    WAY to go Dutch that’s customer service right there. If it’s wrong he might have a whole batch that needs separated for 11’ or 12’ tarps to keep it from happening to the next customer. GOOD MAN.

    For whatever it may be worth...

    I made a pair of Dutch's sleeves from his kit. I made it with pockets on the ends with shock cord closures and added a pair of kam snaps to the center shortly after.

    A year or so later I made a single skin. My wife and I prefer the double when it comes time to pack a wet tarp. We find that the taper of the double makes a big difference here.
