And tomorrow is the last day for the full 30% discount on the XL... jus' sayin'...
Wish I could try out the BORG tarp on my regular Draumr though... interested in what the extra front-to-back would add to the roominess/openness, but equally curious about the trade-off on the narrower width....?? [BORG is only 98" vs 106" on the regular 3.0]

Darn deadlines! I told myself "no, I don't need another hammock" three times. Then I'd watch Shug's and Derek's XL YouTube review again. That darn fourth time. At least I ordered my Nordic blue while they were still 30% off.
My xl is ordered I sold my 3.0 system. I was wondering about adding doors to the xl tarp it looks quite narrow or looking into a winter tarp any links or pics that could help me out thanks all
the narrowness isn't really the problem, it's moreso that because the hammock hangs perpendicular, you can't button it down tight in an a-frame like regular tarp/hammock combos
I've been contemplating DIY'ing a beak (maybe 2) for my Amok tarp for a while now, but never seem to get around to it. I've never actually gotten wet under my tarp yet, but I've also been lucky enough to not be pitched sideways into the rain
a custom, wider superfly, or one of Simply Light Designs Winter Palace would also definitely be fantastic
Jared's got a couple picks of an orange one, with pole mod, and it's just spectacular
Recently received my Draumr XL and tried it out over the weekend.
Like any new sleep system it took a little getting used to.
But I can honestly say I slept really well and enjoyed it!
Barely any CBS (@ 44°F) which I knocked out with a small hand warmer.
Thanks Amok Equipment for a great product!
