    Self adjusting under quilt

My recent post of my DIY under quilt mentioned a pulley suspension, which brought up questions. Here's a short video I made to demonstrate it. The other side of the quilt has an identical pulley system.

Very nice setup. So simple and yet so effective. Great job.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

Nice ideas in there, I will have to try some of those myself....well, except for the -20* quick in a Florida summer.

Great idea. This among other reasons is why I switched to a bridge hammock. Four connection points on the under quilt and you are done.

So true... I'm preparing my move to the mountains near Conway, NH.

Conway, you say, a perfect place to be...I live in New Hampshire so I know the area well, nice move! You'll have a chance to use your -20* quilt up here, I was out in -10* last winter...maybe we should set up a frozen butt hang--northeast version.

    That's an awesome idea.... Simple.

Prussik on the SRL.. such a simple solution. I just picked a set of Dutch's Ridgeline hooks which work just fine, but I love hardware-less solutions.

Thanks Mike, that ridgeline Prussik does double duty. It's where I attach a shock cord from the foot end of my top quilt. Keeps it in the hammock.
