    Zeppelin Zero Degree --- #WaitingForWinter

Loving the approach of Fall and Waiting For Winter....
    Ordered a new Zeppelin today:

    850 down w/ 2oz Overstuff
83" Length (I'm 6'3 and my78" were adequate, but wanted more for this cold weather quilt and to be able to stack it w/ my 30deg for -10F, -20F & ??
    Blaze Orange Outer Shell
    Charcoal Grey Inner
    1/8" Suspension

What sold me on the Zeppelin over the HG & Loco Libre quilts, knowing both of those are also excellent? I currrently have UGQ 20 deg Topflight, HG Econ 40 deg TQ, HG Econ Incubator 30deg UQ and previously had and sold a great 0 deg HG Incubator UQ that I bought from the forumn and sold on the forum only for the reason to buy a winter UQ just the way I wanted it. In the end, I liked the workmanship on everything from the draft collars to the suspension details, the fabrics and just went with it.

I've been down to -13F w/ my old Incubator's stacked. I'm looking forward to what this new Zeppelin can do, how far it can go before I'll need to stack in my 30 deg UQ. On my -13F night I over dressed and needed to strip down to just my long thermals as I was too dam hot !

I liked the suspension construction from UGQ, the draft collars being health, the overall construction and materials.

Now the wait begins.... it should get here in plenty of time before I need to switch out of my 30 deg UQ.

83" length should give you plenty of toasty wiggle room! I've seen people with hammocks that short! LOL
    Congrats!

This Beauty of a Beast arrived !!! And the temps in MN finally were cool enough (49 degF ) to not spontaneously combust in this firebox of an UQ!
One of the reasons I went with UGQ is the suspension setup they use... IMO, it's the best, most well thought out in the industry.
More than happy w/ the quality, service and customization received through UGQ....

More picts in the coming winter months.. here's a couple from the maiden voyage. I went with Blaze Orange to help me stand out in Fall and Winter outings in case there's any hunters around... otherwise I tend to go with earth tones... I do love how it looks! Not over powering in it's brightness, but bright none-the-less..

Ha! The color even makes it LOOK warm! Great choice.
I received my UGQ Bandit 0° top quilt this week.
