I'm still weirded out that they changed the beverage holder side! I had my reading setup nailed down, and now it'd be backwards!
1st world problems, yo
One more question----I promise! Since you have to use a pad in the draumer xl, how does that work out in the summer? (on a hot and humid day, do you tend to overheat? )
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.

I wonder if something could be done to help alleviate that issue. If the pad sleeve absorbs moisture could some kind of breathable fabric on top of the mat help. This sheet is custom made for the exped http://www.exped.com/finland/en/prod...mat-sheet-lw-0. That could be maybe modified a bit to fit the Fjöl Xl
One thing that could work is to overinflate the mat to keep the shape so it could have little airflow between the airtunnels.
One thing I have noticed myself is that the orange side of the exped breaths or circulates air better than the gray side.

I have tried different methods, but must conclude that my back and arms are getting sweaty, no matter what...

I wonder why is that. If something breaths then in all sense the moisture should escape somehow. I use those Ikea water barrier sheets under my cotton sheets if I drop a coffee mug it doesn't spoil my whole bed. I never had any sweating problems with it. I'm pretty sure it doesn't breath at all as it is made for blocking water.
Could it be the pad sleeve doesn't breathe (well enough)?
I have to go to sauna with my exped to experiment
