Length of shock cord for WB Superfly doors

Based on the suggestion in this thread, I wanted to try adjustable-length shock cord on my doors. I have 1/8" reflective shock cord on each door. I found the standard flat double mini cord locks were no match for the shock cord; it just slips through when tensioned.

The triangular line locks, though, work great.

Yea, don't use those for this application! Stick with the tiny locks with one hole...that way you have more tension/friction in one hole to keep it from slipping (TWSS). I pull mine pretty tight on occasion and haven't slipped once over 5+ years.

I'm looking through my bag, but I don't think I have enough of the single mini cord locks to do this. I just used what I had on hand.

Good to hear. I ordered the mini cord locks from Dutch. Sounds like they should do the trick.

Good deal! Those are exactly what I was referring to. Good cord can matter as well. I tried a seller on ebay and it was junk. I used zpacks, but I bet Dutch's stuff is good too.

I used the Dutch reflective shock cord and the Dutch mini cord locks. Perfect pairing.
Homer: Sir, I need to know where I can get some business hammocks.

Hank Scorpio: Hammocks? My goodness, what an idea. Why didn't I think of that? Hammocks!
