Was going to try and make this. My mom went back into ICU and now out in a monitored room. She has been battling pneumonia and having a rough go of it. She is stable but I think I am going to stick close to home. Maybe I'll catch y'all on another trip!
And Bear creek stuff is pretty good!

We're on our way driving in and seen a bear crossing highway 40. It's good to see so many of them out here. Will be hitting the trailhead in about 20 minutes. We're going to be coming in from Pat's Island if there's room to park

We had a good time. So good to see a bunch of old friends.

Good to see so much water in the pond. I've never seen it this high before. Hope it stays up so we can enjoy this spot for years to come.
