Does HH sell a "sun shield"?

The snake skins, I think, are two pieces that come together in the middle and serve as stuff sacks. This appears to be one piece and serves a somewhat different purpose so there is probably enough of a difference to avoid patent problems.

also seems like the official HH snakeskin is conical in shape? or i think it is.....so another alternative if a company would make them is snakeskins that are just long cylinders and at one end of the cylinder a cinch bungie...of course you'd keep it cinched all the time....long cylinders of syl-nyl surely have prior art..

I might make a one piece skin and call it, "python." Give it an elastic band on one end and red shock cord... LOL Advertising motto, "swallows hammocking gear whole!"

This product is an entirely different design than the Snake Skins. You can patent a design. If someone comes up with a different solution, you cannot keep them from selling that solution.
